How to Calculate Dream11 ROI

The Formula

ROI = ((Total Winnings − Total Entry Fees) / Total Entry Fees) × 100

Worked Example

Suppose you played 20 contests this month. You spent a total of INR 1,500 on entry fees and won INR 2,100 across all contests.

  • Net Profit = INR 2,100 - INR 1,500 = INR 600
  • ROI = (600 / 1,500) × 100 = +40%

A 40% ROI means for every INR 100 you invested, you got back INR 140. That is an excellent return. Most consistent Dream11 winners aim for +15% to +30% ROI over a full IPL season.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ROI in Dream11?
ROI (Return on Investment) in Dream11 measures your profitability. It is calculated as ((Total Winnings - Total Entry Fees) / Total Entry Fees) x 100. A positive ROI means you are making money; a negative ROI means you are losing. For example, if you spent INR 1,000 on entries and won INR 1,200, your ROI is +20%.
What is a good ROI in Dream11?
A consistent ROI of +10% to +20% is considered very good for regular Dream11 players. Top fantasy players aim for +30% or higher, but this requires deep cricket knowledge, matchup analysis, and disciplined bankroll management. Most casual players have a negative ROI.
Is my data safe with this tracker?
Yes. All your data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Nothing is sent to any server. Your entries stay on your device. If you clear your browser data, your entries will be lost — so use the Export CSV feature to back up your data regularly.
How can I improve my Dream11 ROI?
Focus on research: study pitch reports, head-to-head records, and recent form before building teams. Diversify across contest types — do not put all your money in Grand Leagues. Follow the 5% rule (never risk more than 5% of your bankroll on one contest). Track your entries with this tool to find patterns in what works for you.
What is win rate in Dream11?
Win rate is the percentage of contests where your winnings exceeded your entry fee. A win rate of 40% means you made a profit in 4 out of every 10 contests. In Grand Leagues, even a 15-20% win rate can be profitable if the individual wins are large enough to cover the losses.
